01 Galapagos Islands
Few places can match the wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. Snorkel with playful sea lions, watch the amusing mating dance of the Blue-Footed Booby and see wild giant tortoises in the Highlands. All from the comfort of a luxury yacht, the Galapagos is fantastic for couples and families.

02 Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins, Mexico
Become Indiana Jones for a day and explore Chichen Itza, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This ancient Mayan capital is the most famous in Mexico, with temples such as the imposing El Castillo aligned to astronomical events such as the spring and fall equinoxes, offering the chance to see the incredible shadow serpent of El Castillo.
03 Iguazu Falls, Argentina and Brazil
Higher and wider than Niagara, the thundering Iguazu Falls are among the most spectacular sights in South America. The 275 separate falls spread over about 2 miles should be viewed from the Argentinian and Brazilian sides for contrasting views, and by boat from the turbulent waters below.

Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia is a stunning area of snow-capped granite peaks, glaciers and wildlife that is easily explored from our favourite luxury lodges. 05 Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
Travelling by 4×4 across the vast, glistening salt flats of Uyuni is an awe-inspiring experience. A landscape of brilliant white contrasts beautifully with the deep blue sky above. The Salar, nearby volcanoes, desert and multi-coloured lagoons full of flamingos make this region the ultimate off-the-beaten-track destination.

06 Pantanal, Brazil
The Pantanal is the largest wetland area in the world and the best wildlife destination in Latin America. The grasslands, swamps, forests, lakes and rivers are home to an incredible variety of species. 07 Cartagena, Colombia
Cartagena and the surrounding Colombian Caribbean coast are the place to go for sun-drenched relaxation, history, culture and to enjoy a bit of the Caribbean lifestyle. This old Spanish colonial city – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – has a lot to offer. And we haven’t even mentioned the salsa!
08 Amazon Rainforest
The largest rainforest in the world, the Amazon covers much of Brazil, as well as Peru and Ecuador, among other places. Take a luxury cruise down the little-explored remnants of the mighty Amazon River or stay in a luxury lodge to explore with an expert local Indian guide, fish for piranhas and spot the many birds, monkeys and caiman crocodiles.

10 Rio de Janeiro
One of the largest cities in the world, Rio de Janeiro has it all: vibrant nightlife, iconic landmarks, beaches, rainforest, and of course, Carnival! Head to the tops of Sugarloaf Mountain and Corcovado’s Christ the Redeemer for stunning views of Guanabara Bay and, of course, the famous beaches of Ipanema and Copacabana below.
